Below is an excerpt of a feature story in the March 2015 edition of Good News Cleveland magazine. Springtime is just around the corner. Blooming flowers, fresh green leaves, dogwoods and perfect temperatures are welcomed signs after a winter of polar dips, snowflakes, and black ice. While we always look forward to this wonderful respite from the harshness of winter, the time of transition between the seasons is often quite extreme. Polar dips and icy streets give way to severe storms and tornado warnings. Many times the transition period between the seasons is worse than what we experienced throughout the entire previous season.
